LEO Ready ("the app") is made by Pure Chaos Graphix LLC, a Louisiana limited liability company based in New Orleans. By using the app you agree to these terms.

Independent app

LEO Ready is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office (OPSO), the City of New Orleans, or any government agency, and it does not represent any government entity.

What the app is

LEO Ready helps law enforcement officers keep their off-duty detail work organized: logging detail dates, hours and rates, filling out detail forms, drafting report text, looking up reference information, and seeing location information. It is a personal productivity aid. It is not an official record or payroll system, and it does not book or pay for details. Your agency's records, policies and payroll are the official source.

Accounts

Accounts are for approved officers only. You must give accurate information when you request access. We may approve, reject, suspend or deactivate accounts. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure.

Backup alert

The backup alert lets approved users send a quick "need backup" alert to other approved users. It supplements your radio. It does not replace dispatch, your radio, or 911. Alerts depend on your phone, network and other users' devices and may be delayed or not delivered. In an emergency, always use your radio, dispatch or 911.

Reference information

Radio codes, charges, contact numbers and other reference material in the app are for reference only. They may be incomplete, out of date, or differ from your agency's official policy. Always verify with your agency and the official sources.

Where am I

The "Where am I" feature shows the police district, zone and sub-zone for your location based on public City of New Orleans map data and your device's location. It is not an official determination. Verify with NOPD or your agency.

Hours and pay

Expected pay totals and hour-limit warnings are estimates based on the numbers and limits you enter. They are not official calculations. You are responsible for following your agency's rules on secondary employment and detail hours.

Your content

Details, forms, reports and other content you create are your responsibility. Do not enter content you have no right to use. You are responsible for reviewing any form or report before you send or file it.

Acceptable use

Use the app only for lawful purposes. Do not try to break security, misuse alerts, impersonate another officer, or access another user's data. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Price

LEO Ready is currently free, with no in-app purchases. If that changes, we will update these terms and the store listing first.

No warranty

The app is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any reference, location or pay information is accurate or complete.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pure Chaos Graphix LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including missed or delayed alerts, decisions made from app information, or data loss. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim (or zero if the app was free).

Apple

If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ . Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy at https://leoready.app/privacy explains what we collect and how deletion works.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
